With two movies already in the can—October’s “So Undercover” and “LOL”—it seems that Miley Cyrus and her Gypsy Heart are getting ready to tackle the topic of religion in a film that she’s reportedly going to produce with her mama, Tish, under their production banner, Hope Town Entertainment.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the flick will revolve around a broken promise to God. That’s about all anyone knows. That and it will be a comedy written by Sam Brown and Jack Angelo. Sounds funny to us?
This is just the latest movie added to Miley’s roster—she has a number of other projects simmering, as well. She’s been long-rumored to star in not one, but two YA adaptations. Back in June 2010, she was attached to the supernatural thriller “Wake,” and a year before she had been rumored to have a part in the fairy novel adaptation of “Wings.”
Keeping in the tone of those other supernatural-themed projects, earlier this year there had been some talk that a team was working to adapt her part in the Rock Mafia’s short film/music video for the “Big Bang” (which also starred hottie Kevin Zegers) for the big screen.

We like to shake things up here in Style Superstar land. Sometimes, we honor celebs with consistently killer style, like Emma Watson and Nina Dobrev. Other times, we recognize stars who burst onto our radar after sporting a fabulous outfit, like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley or Rosa Byrne. This week, we’re rewarding one of young Hollywood’s finest celebs for pulling a phenomenal fashion 180: teen queen Miley Cyrus.
Miley’s made headlines for some very revealing outfits on her recent world tour, but she emerged at a benefit for the Starkey Hearing Foundation in Minnesota this week wearing a stunning, sophisticated and, yes, very sexy black dress. The asymmetrical, one-sleeved gown fits her rockin’ bod like a glove. It’s mature, but with hot orange nails, subtle bikini top tan lines and undone hair. We hope this sleek, understated sex appeal continues in her future red carpet appearances.

We almost didn’t recognize Miley Cyrus on the red carpet last night in St. Paul for the 11th annual Starkey Hearing Foundation Awards Gala.
Miley, who was among celebs including Whoopi Goldberg, Gary Busey, Kevin Coster and Garth Brooks, told the local MyFox9 TV station that it was her “first Starkey trip this year” and she hopes to stay involved. She said her family has “connected through music” and so if one of them “couldn’t hear and be involved in the music with me, that connection wouldn’t be the same.” She changed into a different outfit for her performance at the party.
Miley tweeted that she bid on - and won - a trip to Haiti and plans to take “all my friends.”
In addition to raising money for the foundation, which provides hearing aids to children around the world, the gala also honored Bill Clinton, Marlee Matlin and others for their humanitarian work.

Billy Ray has revealed why he originally called his daughter Destiny Hope, before she changed her name to Miley Cyrus.
In an interview with Piers Morgan this week, the country singer told the talk show host that he thought the Party In The U.S.A. singer would bring “hope” to people.
“This was Miley’s dream. This was her - I believe to touch people’s lives. Through her music and her life,” he told Piers. “I still believe that.
“You know, her name was originally Destiny Hope, I had given her the name before she was born because I had a vision. I felt it was her destiny to bring hope to the world.
“When I see her selling out arenas around the world or on her TV show, making people laugh, bringing families into the living room together, we always, try to put positive messages in each episode if we could.
“And, you know, I do think that she - this is her purpose - her path.”
The Runway Light singer added about the LOL actress: “Miley really, really has a good heart. And she loves people. She loves music. She loves entertaining.
“There’s a lot of things that Miley does that I wouldn’t go into right now on a humanitarian basis. But Miley is a great humanitarian. She really cares about her fellow man, and people, and the planet and animals.”

What is the 4th of July without some good tunes to listen to!
Celebuzz put together a playlist you can rock out to while celebrating America’s birthday this year.
1. First up to bat we have the ultimate birthday song for America (at least in our eyes) — Miley Cyrus‘s ”Party in the U.S.A.” Check out the video:
2. A song that offers some advice, Lenny Kravitz‘s “American Woman.”
3. Carrie Underwood is our favorite “All-American Girl.”
4. You can’t eat it, but you can definitely listen! Madonna‘s “American Pie” is another one of our favorites.
5. Bruce Springsteen makes us feel proud to be “Born in the U.S.A.”
6. We love being young in the U.S! Just like Kim Wilde‘s song says “We’re the ‘Kids In America.’”
7. “American Girl” by Tom Petty is definitely also a patriotic favorite.
8. Dave Matthews Band and their song “American Baby” definitely makes us want to “stay beautiful and American.”
9. The song “United States of Eurasia” by Muse is a wonderful Fourth of July tribute to our nation.
10. Niel Diamond‘s “America” is a patriotic classic.
11. The last song on the Fourth of July playlist is a true red, white, and blue tune – “Our Country” by John Mellencamp.

TWEEN sensation Miley Cyrus is growing up fast, as she showed her Adelaide fans at the Entertainment Centre last night.
The 18-year-old was a commanding rock star with undeniable stage presence.
Relying on nothing more than her voice and a powerful band, this was no fairy-tale pantomime.
Cyrus threw out the hits as fast as the young female audience could handle them. Party in the USA came on early with shrieking screams from the sell-out crowd before the former Disney starlet hit memory lane, referencing some of the female music icons who have influenced her.
A Joan Jett medley of I Love Rock and Roll, Cherry Bomb and Bad Reputation had mums and dads singing along while Robot and the rocking Kicking and Screaming sent glow sticks up in the air.
More covers ensued including Poison’s Every Rose Has Its Thorn which softened things up alongside Forgiveness and Love, where Cyrus channeled Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks.
Then it was on to the much-talked about version of Smells Like Teen Spirit.
But for all the negative publicity from grunge purists here’s a point to consider - if 100 kids head out and purchase a Nirvana album it’s most certainly a good thing.
Cyrus delivered a highly polished live performance - a rarity for most musicians, especially one her age.
