Miley Launches Her New Clothing Line in UK
It’s no secret that Miley Cyrus has always been a strong fashion icon especially among her fans who were always fascinated by the projects the young singer and actress has had over the years. Well those in the UK who wanted to have Miley closer to them will now have the chance as she just launched her new clothing line there in the presence of hundreds of fans.It seems that 2010 will be a highly profitable year for many celebrities from the music and acting industry, especially for those who participated in many projects related to the fashion and beauty industry.
After being recognized as a powerful fashion icon for many years it seems that the beautiful singer decided to launch a clothing line called Miley and Max for George at Asda.
Her British fans were definitely ecstatic about her initiative especially since she went at Derby herself to greet her fans and to give autographs. Although the collection for which Miley teamed up with the well known Max Ariza was already released in US, her British fans had to wait a little longer to benefit from the latest creations inspired by Miley.
However the delay doesn’t seem to have affected the desire of her fans and in certain ways it appears it was even intensified by the anticipation. Unsurprisingly, the location was soon filled with hundreds of devoted fans for who wanted to meet the their idol in person. However from the thousand of fans that gathered to see her only some of them managed to see her.
Like Miley Cyrus’s PR declared: “The response has been overwhelming – everybody loves Miley. There’s probably about five or six hundred people here today but thousands and thousands of people actually wanted to come in and see Miley and see the new line that she’s been doing with George but unfortunately she just couldn’t see everyone.”
The teen idol managed to put the sadness caused by her parents divorce aside for a moment and she managed to smile and give hundreds of autographs to the fans that have come from all parts of the UK to see her. For the occasion she managed to look gorgeous as usual and chose a classic combination of black and white that complimented her tanned skin superbly.
The collection, which includes various shirts, tops, t-shops as well as jeans comes at surprisingly affordable price ranges which means that these items will soon be sold out as the demand is undoubtedly very high. All the pieces in the collection are extremely versatile in the sense they can be easily mixed and matched in various different styles.

And all this deluxe real estate's in the most private of locales, where the teen queen can do whatever she wants without getting caught by pesky paparazzi—or anyone else for that matter.
According to the home's website, it is "the perfect celebrity hideaway," complete with gates that surround the hilltop compound.

Miley Adds New God-Themed Flick To Busy Schedule
With two movies already in the can—October’s “So Undercover” and “LOL”—it seems that Miley Cyrus and her Gypsy Heart are getting ready to tackle the topic of religion in a film that she’s reportedly going to produce with her mama, Tish, under their production banner, Hope Town Entertainment.According to The Hollywood Reporter, the flick will revolve around a broken promise to God. That’s about all anyone knows. That and it will be a comedy written by Sam Brown and Jack Angelo. Sounds funny to us?
This is just the latest movie added to Miley’s roster—she has a number of other projects simmering, as well. She’s been long-rumored to star in not one, but two YA adaptations. Back in June 2010, she was attached to the supernatural thriller “Wake,” and a year before she had been rumored to have a part in the fairy novel adaptation of “Wings.”
Keeping in the tone of those other supernatural-themed projects, earlier this year there had been some talk that a team was working to adapt her part in the Rock Mafia’s short film/music video for the “Big Bang” (which also starred hottie Kevin Zegers) for the big screen.

We like to shake things up here in Style Superstar land. Sometimes, we honor celebs with consistently killer style, like Emma Watson and Nina Dobrev. Other times, we recognize stars who burst onto our radar after sporting a fabulous outfit, like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley or Rosa Byrne. This week, we’re rewarding one of young Hollywood’s finest celebs for pulling a phenomenal fashion 180: teen queen Miley Cyrus.Miley’s made headlines for some very revealing outfits on her recent world tour, but she emerged at a benefit for the Starkey Hearing Foundation in Minnesota this week wearing a stunning, sophisticated and, yes, very sexy black dress. The asymmetrical, one-sleeved gown fits her rockin’ bod like a glove. It’s mature, but with hot orange nails, subtle bikini top tan lines and undone hair. We hope this sleek, understated sex appeal continues in her future red carpet appearances.

Belleville resident reherses with Miley Cyrus
While most of her friends spent last weekend at family barbeques or on the Jersey shore, 12-year-old Samantha Sobek of Belleville was hobnobbing with celebrities on the Red Carpet.
Samantha and her mother, Lisa Sobek, were the winners of The Starkey Hearing Foundation’s “Listen Carefully” Sweepstakes. The foundation flew the mother-daughter duo to Minneapolis last weekend, where they attended a star-studded luncheon, private rehearsal and meet-and-great with Pop sensation/actress Miley Cyrus, a celebrity auction/fundraiser and a Red Carpet gala.
“It was like the Academy Awards, it was amazing… I can’t even explain,” said Lisa of the gala, citing how the foundation also treated her and Samantha to professional hair and makeup for the evening.
Among the stars at the weekend’s events were Kevin Costner, Whoopi Goldberg, Jordan Sparks, David Arquette, Gary Busey, President Bill Clinton and Marlee Matlin – who spoke with Samantha.
“I actually got to meet Marlee Matlin,” Samantha gushed. “She is my idol and I think she’s beautiful, and I really hope to be like her when I grow up.”
During the private rehearsal with Miley Cyrus, Samantha and Lisa were treated to a concert of about eight songs, and then got to take the stage with the singer and her dog for some conversation and a photo shoot.
“I was scared, but I was very excited,” Samantha said of standing beside Cyrus on the large stage.
Samantha’s bedroom is adorned with a “Hannah Montana” poster – paying homage to the sitcom that Cyrus starred in – and her cellphone is full of Cyrus’s music, Lisa said.
“You can hear how loud the music is, even with the things in her ears,” said Lisa, adding that her young daughter is already showing signs of hearing problems.
And that is where The Starkey Hearing Foundation comes in. Its members aim to foster hearing care through awareness, education, protection and treatment initiatives. The Foundation recently visited Haiti on a mission to distribute hearing aids to those in need. The motto of the Foundation’s current “Listen Carefully” campaign – for which Miley Cyrus is a public advocate – is, “Your hearing is fragile, so don’t listen loudly, listen carefully.”
There are 6.5 million teens diagnosed with some level of hearing loss – an increase of 31 percent over the past decade, the Foundation reports.
“As an artist, I want to make sure fans are able to experience the magic of music as it was intended,” said Cyrus in a released statement. “By just lowering the volume and using the right protection for your ears, hearing loss can be prevented, which means never losing the ability to enjoy the sound of a guitar, a beautiful lyric or a favorite song.”
Lisa was home on disability and “bored” when she happened to find the online entry form for Starkey’s sweepstakes, she said.
“So I entered, not thinking anything of it, because when does anyone ever win,” she added.
“They called me and I ignored it. And they emailed, and I ignored that, too… finally, they sent an email and said that was the last time they’d try to reach me. I responded and asked ‘What’s the catch,’” Lisa said.
To her surprise, there was no catch.”I was excited and star-struck every moment I was there,” Samantha said of the weekend. “And I was very touched. The Starkey Hearing Foundation… they take their time and have other people joining in. I think it’s fabulous. They made a hearing aid for one of the people in the room, and I was so amazed that she got this little machine to make her hear. It was very, very cool.”
Samantha is hoping to volunteer her time to the foundation in the future, she said.
“My daughter wants to be involved as much as she can,” her mother added. “The foundation is just amazing. What they do for these under-privileged countries and children… to see them hear for the first time. It’s just amazing.”
