Miley Cyrus Performs at Starkey Gala
We almost didn’t recognize Miley Cyrus on the red carpet last night in St. Paul for the 11th annual Starkey Hearing Foundation Awards Gala.
Miley, who was among celebs including Whoopi Goldberg, Gary Busey, Kevin Coster and Garth Brooks, told the local MyFox9 TV station that it was her “first Starkey trip this year” and she hopes to stay involved. She said her family has “connected through music” and so if one of them “couldn’t hear and be involved in the music with me, that connection wouldn’t be the same.” She changed into a different outfit for her performance at the party.Miley tweeted that she bid on - and won - a trip to Haiti and plans to take “all my friends.”In addition to raising money for the foundation, which provides hearing aids to children around the world, the gala also honored Bill Clinton
, Marlee Matlin and others for their humanitarian work.
